It all began with 2 dogs…
In 2014, owners Rich McIntosh and Christine Wenman brought home Pyper (a Siberian Husky) and Wacko (a Malamute/Husky mix) from the NWT SPCA. Over the next three years, they acquired and trained six more sled dogs, including Canadian Inuit Huskies, an Alaskan Husky and two more Siberian Huskies. In 2019, they opened the doors of Sundog Adventures on Latham Island (in Yellowknife’s Old Town) with their team of huskies eager to entertain and pull guests across Back Bay on an unforgettable experience.
