Hok Skiing
Meet at our Old Town log Trading Post (4 Lessard Drive) to gear up and fitted then venture
onto Great Slave Lake to nearby destinations.
Hok pronounced “hawk” snowshoe skiing is Canada’s fastest growing sport outside of pickle
ball. Hok skiing combines the ease of snowshoeing and the cardio of cross-country skiing with a
whole new level of fun! All levels of ability can enjoy this addicting go anyway sport. Our Hok tours
are 1.5 hours in length consisting of a tour through the houseboat community and Jolliffe Island
trails. The Hoks are very stable and forgiving making uphill climbs a breeze.

Our temperature cut-off for tours Hok Skiing is -20C. A full refund will be applied if tours are cancelled due to weather.
